Key Features of the External Signage:

1. Built-Up Rimless Aluminium Lettering:

   • The built-up letters for the brand name “JD GYMS” were crafted from high-quality aluminium to provide a sleek, contemporary look. The rimless design of the letters gave them a clean and minimalist appearance, adding to the modern aesthetic of the gym's branding.

   • Each letter was constructed with a solid aluminium body, ensuring both durability and a high-quality finish. The rimless feature helped create a more seamless, sleek profile, giving the signage a sophisticated edge.

   • The size and positioning of the letters were carefully planned to ensure maximum visibility from both nearby and distant views, making it easy for potential customers to spot the gym from various vantage points.

2. Illuminated with Internal LED Modules:

   • To enhance the impact of the signage, each letter and the logo were illuminated with internal LED modules. The LEDs provided bright, energy-efficient lighting that illuminated the faces of the letters, ensuring the signage stood out in low light or at night.

   • The LED backlighting ensured the graphics were evenly illuminated, creating a clean and professional glow that added vibrancy to the gym’s interior. This was particularly effective in areas where ambient lighting might be lower, ensuring that the signage remained visible and eye-catching at all times.

   • The graphics on the tension fabric were custom-designed, showcasing motivational messages, gym rules, and branding elements in line with JD Gyms' identity. 3. Bespoke Fabricated Key-Clamp Frame System:

   • To support the signage, a bespoke key-clamp frame system was designed and fabricated. This unique structure spanned a total length of 24 metres, making it a significant feature in the gym's interior.

   • The frame system was custom-built to hold both the tension fabric lightboxes and glass neon elements, ensuring they were securely mounted and properly aligned. The key-clamp system allowed for easy adjustment and installation, providing a stable and durable framework for the signage.

   • The system was designed to complement the gym’s industrial aesthetic, with the key-clamps and frames adding a modern, rugged feel to the space while supporting the vibrant neon and fabric elements.

4. Overall Layout and Design Integration:

   • The 24-metre span of the key-clamp frame system allowed for a continuous, seamless display of the illuminated fabric lightboxes and glass neon, creating a striking visual effect that ran through key areas of the gym.

   • The signage was strategically placed to guide members through the gym, offering both functional wayfinding and inspiring visuals. The illuminated lightboxes were used for directional signage, safety instructions, and branding, while the glass neon added a dynamic and creative touch to the space.
